Antonio Cairoli to start Tuscan Rewind 2020

The 9-time world champion will be competing on a Hyundai i20 R5 managed by  BRC Racing Team

Antonio Cairoli will take part at the 11th edition of the Tuscan Rewind, the event that will award the 2020 Italian Rally Championship winner, scheduled from 20th to 22nd November on the famous Tuscan gravel roads.

The 9-time motocross world champion will participate along with Anna Tomasi, co-driver of the Italian WRC Rally 2019 winner Luca Pedersoli.

Cairoli will be at the starting line with a Hyundai i20 R5 supplied by the Alzenau manufacturer and managed by BRC Racing Team. A return to four wheels for "Tony", who tried this experience many times in the past with good results.

For the Sicilian driver this will be the second time at the Tuscan Rewind event. His comment: “I’m super excited with this opportunity given by Hyundai Motorsport and I thank Andrea Adamo. We will enter an important event like Rally Tuscan and I will try to do my best with no pressure, given my little experience in rally competitions. After all, we’re racing to have fun at the end of a very intense motorsport season”.

All challenges will take place in a single stage, Saturday 21st November, starting at 7.01 am and arriving at 4.00 pm in Montalcino. Three stages repeated three times for a total of 92,280 timed kilometers, over a total distance of 248,150 kilometers.
