LPG systems for not catalytic injection vehicles
The LPG transformation, the type and the components' distribution, relating to a not catalytic injection vehicle, correspond with the picture below.
The LPG in a liquid state, through the refuelling point, gets the tank. From here, thanks to the important functions done by the multivalve, through the high-pressure pipe-line and controlled by the LPG solenoid valve, gets the electro-assisted reducers-vaporizer. Here, thanks to the water coming from the engine cooling plant, pass to a gas state and to the atmospheric pressure and afterwards gets the mixer, in order to be mixed and metered with air.
The LPG-Petrol switching is managed by a changeover ecu which, besides the "safety" function, carries out the function of injection system interruption. The products needed for the injection vehicle transformation are sold separately (there’s no BRC kit) so different combinations are possible, on the basis of vehicle type, installers' choice, etc...
